all the crap you might want to know
I just wanted to let you all know that last week I got engaged. I know this is big news for some of you. Andrea and I have been dating on and off for the last year and a half. She is such a blessing in my life. I don’t know what I would do with out her.
I know you are dying to know how I did it, so here you go.
I went and picked Andrea up for dinner and I brought her a dozen white roses, similar to the ones I had given her on the first valentines that we shared together. She was excited about the roses; we went out for sushi at one of our favorite places. After dinner, we went for a walk in Centennial Park here in Nashville. While we were at dinner, my good friend Aaron went over to Andrea’s house and put 5 dozen roses around her living room. I will have pictures of the living room soon. After the park, Andrea and I went back to her house. She thought that we were going back to watch the hockey game that was on. When she opened the door, she was floored. She shouted out “oh my gosh!” Once we walked into the house, I got down on one knee and ask her if she would marry me. The good news is that she said yes. We are both very excited about what the future holds for us.
I would like to ask all of you for your prayers and support over the next few months while we plan a wedding.
on another note…
Derek is deep in the process of writing for the next album. He has been listening to a ton of Wilco. If you have not heard them before, go pickup there album. There are a few to choose from. Derek is heading over to the UK with Sandra in the next few weeks. I will not be going with them, so no cool stories from over there. Unless DW tells them to me.
I would also like to thank my fan club for making themselves known at the show in Greensboro.

Dave, should we be listening to Wilco in order to get a feel for the new DWeeb album, then?
You already know that I’m happy for you and Andrea, but you can only imagine how it warmed my heart that you used hockey as a diversion tactic for your nefarious plans. Gold Star for Dave.

I’m hoping Derek’s been listening to the new Wilco because it seriously rocks my face off. Even more than YHF.

So many disappointed 14 year olds across this great nation are left to their bitter tears of lonliness now that you’re engaged, Dave.
Congrats to you and Andrea– I know you must be really excited! I know a wedding planner, should you choose to use one!
