Update our Baby

Tuesday, June 26th, 2007

As some of you already know, Andrea and I are expecting our first little baby at the end of September. We found out a few weeks ago that we are having a little baby girl that we are naming Abigail Rose. Everything with Abby is looking good, but we have recently found out that Andrea is experiencing the early signs of Preeclampsia. Our OBGYN (Dr. Storck) has put Andrea on modified bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy. She is going to start seeing Andrea on a weekly basis to make sure that the Preeclampsia stays in check. One of the biggest problems is that Preeclampsia has some of the same symptoms as Lupus (which Andrea was diagnosed with back in 1995). So, we are keeping a close watch on Andrea’s blood pressure at home, and Dr. Storck is checking on all the other stuff. The cure of Preeclampsia is to deliver the baby early. But since we are only at 27 weeks, Dr. Storck is going to start Andrea on some medication to help Abby’s lung development.
We will keep you posted on what is going on. Keep us in your prayers.

I should have been a cowboy…

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

Well, we knew it would happen sooner or later… Nashville has rubbed off on me and I am now working in country music. I am going on the road with an artist named Danielle Peck. If things go good, I might have everyone donate to help me buy a cowboy hat. For now, I will go without one.

Vacation 2006

Sunday, July 16th, 2006

Once again I have gone on vacation. For those of you who don’t ever take time to do this… You should.
Andrea and I joined up with my family in upstate New York to spend a week enjoying the quiet little town of Speculator, and some time on the lake.

Check out the pictures in the gallery.

The rumors are true

Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

The rumors are true. I am no longer working for Derek. Yes, it is a sad day. But don’t worry…

After 2.5 years working with, in my opinion, one of the greatest talents in the music business, I have moved on to something different. There are nohard feelings between myself and Derek. And I hope to someday work with him and Sandra again. But for the time being I needed to do something else.

I am now working with the group Watermark. And yes, they are about to be no longer. They asked me to come out and Tour Manage their farewell tour and take over as their pseudo manager while they are leaving their record label. It is a big step for my career. So I took it. Call me a sell out if you like, but it is no worse than Bryan Allain missing a concert to play softball. I am also working with Christy Nockels (lead singer of Watermark) as she starts her own solo career.

So for the time being, I am back to being a Derek Webb super fan. I will keep you updated on what I am doing.
