back from vacation

June 16th, 2005

Well, I am back from vacation. All I can say is that I have never seen a place that was as cool as Virgin Gorda. If you have not already seen the pictures, you need to. My family rented a house on the beach for 10 days. We spent time just relaxing. There was some of the best snorkeling I have ever seen just outside our back door. It beat Hawaii and the Florida Keys by a ton. Every morning when I got up we would go and check out the reefs. We saw sea turtles, stingrays, a ton of different tropical fish, some squid, one reef shark, a lobster, crabs, and some of the coolest coral.

It was great for Andrea and I to spend the time with my parents, sister, brother in-law, and their kids. One of my aunts spent a few days with us as well. If you ever have the chance to visit the Virgin Islands, go.

My summer vacation…

June 2nd, 2005

That is right… I am taking a summer vacation. The best part about this vacation is that I will be in a place that my cell phone does not work. As far as I know there are only 2 places that even have wifi. It should be a fun time for me. My family (mom, dad, sister, brother in-law, Andrea…) are all going to the British Virgin Islands. We rented a house on the beach. I am planning on doing absolutely nothing for the 10 days we are there. The sad news, for you guys, is that I will be missing some of DW’s shows. But cason will be out with DW. So the shows should be great.

Well, I need to go pack. I will try to post some pictures while I am down there.

saturday morning

May 14th, 2005

8.30 am Saturday Morning
It is amazing to me what kind of crap people will buy at a garage sale. I am currently sitting in my in-laws garage selling what I thought was some worthless crap. I think that the funniest thing is that the nice stuff (computer printer, scanner, TV and George Forman grill) has not sold. The crazy thing is that within 5 minuets of opening the garage door we had sold over $20 of stuff. Don’t get me wrong; I am selling people for a great deal. I sold one old lady an already used candle for a dollar. Good news! I just sold the George Forman! I only used it once. But as most of you know… I am not the most lean and mean grilling machine you have ever met. The other thing that I am noticing is that women will buy almost anything it you give them a deal. Someone just bought a hair crimper that Andrea had when she was like 15. And this is why some people get stuck in the 80’s. They go to a garage sale and but stuff that they wanted back then. And now they can get it. Women are buying shoes that don’t even fit. This makes no sense to me. I have had two offers from people to buy my mother in-laws Jeep, and one on our Lexus. Now these were not good offers, because if they were, I would take them.
It is now 9.29 am. We have sold over $250 of stuff. Most of which sold for less than a dollar.

Needless to say I am happy that all of this stuff is leaving my house. And I love taking peoples money. Which lease me to my next point. In the near future, davejac.net will have bumper stickers. (Geoff I need your help with this) once they are up please buy a ton of them. They will help support the good folks at the .net. So buy one for everyone you know.

I have to go back to selling crap.

sorry

Bryan

I am so sorry about not returning your calls. But for the record, I was not drinking in Passaic NJ. It was in VA, PA, and OH. Yes I have drank in NJ, but never Coors light. That is always at my in-laws house. Thanks for setting me straight about softball. And how rough the game is. But trust me… You want me as your bat boy. You need me as your bat boy. But I am Derek’s bat boy.

On a happier note, thanks for directing me to your web site. The picture of you topless is now my wallpaper. (see photo in my gallery)

My open letter to Bryan Allain

May 6th, 2005

I am hurt by your most recent activities. I would have never thought it would come down to seeing me, or playing “softball”! What has happened to you! You never write, call, and now show up to concerts. And the worst part all for, softball. Not baseball. But softball. Next you are going to tell me that Sam Adams is a good decision! I just wanted to let you know as I sit here crying over my computer that I am hurt. Once you called me your number one fan.

Give me my money back! And don’t forget my black T-Shirt.

Davejac

P.S. The red sox called and they don’t want a softball player as their fan either!
